Kira Waters graduated from the University of Utah with a doctorate degree as a Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health and Certified Nurse Midwifery. After initially completing her associate's degree in nursing from Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming, she spent four years working as a labor and delivery at a hospital in Wyoming. She enjoyed her work with expectant mothers so much that she decided to pursue her doctorate degree.

She believes in the empowerment of women and giving women the education needed to make their own decisions regarding their health. Above all, Kira believes that women deserve a health care environment that is safe and without judgment; a place where women receive care that is compassionate and the highest quality through open and honest discussion.
